Electric Engineer Job Description:
The Electrical Engineer role is crucial for advancing our seating solutions, and offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on our projects. The primary role would include; research, design, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems. Perform integration, verification, and formal qualification software testing according to specific requirements. Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure project success. Integrating electrical components and wiring into designs while ensuring compliance with vendor and OEM requirements.
Primary Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Electrical Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and integration
- Proficiency with electrical design software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems safety standards and regulations
- Experience evaluating requirements.
- Experience with troubleshooting and failure processes.
- Experience with the use of lab/field test equipment.
- Experience with Verification and Validation methods.
- Experience creating integration and verification strategies.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Integration of avionics and electrical systems and equipment.
- System level design, detailed electrical design, and installation design.
- Research and identify potential solutions to meet design objectives.
- Working with engineers and technicians in design and troubleshooting on both bench and aircraft.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak the English language.
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
- Ability to work both independently and within a crossâfunctional team.
- Ability to efficiently learn new skills and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in integration with test equipment, telemetry data analysis software, and missile systems host platforms.
- Technical experience to include capture/pursuit experience, including contribution or authoring of white papers, RFI responses, proposal of technical volumes, or related experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
