Aerospace Engineer Job Description:

The Aerospace Engineer will create schematics, test prototypes and produce finalized designs for military technology and physical infrastructure. You will work within the chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering specialties, depending on your background. The tasks may vary depending on the specific role and branch. Common responsibilities include: research scientific concepts, design camouflage, interpret satellite images, create terrain plans and excavate combat areas, build roads and pathways, test military vehicles, invent explosive devices, locate land mines, design electrical systems, repair aircraft and watercraft, and strategize military operations.

  • Experience leading STE development (and prime hardware) test activities.
  • Experience with security requirements related to government testing.
  • Having up-to-date knowledge and technical skills

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
